two days left, and lots still to be done. We have opened at 7:30, and could really use the help on finishing up the move. The roads are largely fine- but be careful on Stirrup Creek Drive- still a bit of ice at the turns and twists. As always, the coffee is hot and strong...just like me...come on down and enjoy the fun and camaraderie of moving!

In a slight excess of enthusiasm, Chuck and I moved the Janome machines and small boxes to the upstairs of the new Tech Shop -- carefully wrapped in plastic for protection from dust as the walls go up.
Sewing had 247 square feet of space at Tech Shop Durham -- which we generally found to be a bit snug. Scott told me yesterday that Sewing will have slightly over 400 Square feet in the new location -- breathing space!! And the lighting is plenty bright for aging eyes.
Textiles will be upstairs, with one new wall that will need painting -- we might as well do them all for symmetry, cleanliness and the like. If anyone is inspired to make the walls plaid, have at it! I can help with a base coat.
Scott is including notes about plans and progress in his blog. Watch that for dry wall finish dates, we can go paint dates, and the like. We will have more electrical outlets, more space, and there's time to chat about what goes where.
As soon as the layout is more definite, I'll send a a floor plan. I'm way out of touch, since I worked in Fort Worth most of the time from June to December, so please forward to folks you know have been using the space.

Dear all-
I'm in the cog, the coffee is hot, the popcorn fresh, and we have about 20% of TSD to move. Come on down and help out if you can!

Come one, come all! We are loading the big machinery this morning. Loads of fun to be had by all! We can especially use folks with loading experience, and forklift operators...but anyone with an ounce of energy would be gladly welcomed. As always, the coffee is hot and strong and the popcorn is fresh...
TSD is open for packing/moving activities. Please come down and help if you are able.
