Removing carpet glue from floors

This turned out to be a nightmare. I bought very expensive soy based eco friendly stripper. 55 gallons of it for $3000 and change. Here are pictures from the first work party we had. Fifteen people showed up for the first night............. then 4 the next night and 4 the night after that. This was a huge job and as it turned out, the stripper worked well on some parts and not as well on others.

Can you please put some light

Can you please put some light on how to remove carpet glue from polished concrete. I have been trying this for the past week but have been really unsuccessful. I tried scratching even.

Nighmare revisited

Hi andys,

I thought I would never have to think about that again. Oh the memories. That was one incredible job. How much do you have to strip? I have about three gallons of stripper left and could sell it to you if it's enough.

More info

Perhaps I should elaborate a bit. Ours is a concrete floor too. We used a soy based stripper and it was incredible. It really cuts the glue and you then scrape it up easily. I can check how many square feet it covers per gallon if you are interested, but other than having someone else do it, I think this may be the easiest way to get it done. The nightmare part was due to the sheer volume of flooring we needed to strip.
