Free Laserdisc player and discs

(Update: It's been taken!)

Hello all,

Figuring that there are likely some kindred spirits in the TechShop community that might have an interest in such things, I thought I'd post this here before putting it on Craigslist.

I have a Pioneer LD-660 Laserdisc player and a collections of discs for it. It works fine (I just played a few minutes of My Favorite Year), but I cannot speak to the state of each and every one of the discs (some haven't been played in years), but they and the player have been in climate-controlled conditions from the time I purchased them to now, so it's not like they've baked in an attic, or gotten moldy in a basement.

Here's a listing of the discs:

Star wars trilogy special edition
Star wars
Return of the Jedi
The empire strikes back
Back to the future
The right stuff
2001: a space Odyssey
2010 the year we make contact
Brainstorm
Star trek IV
For your eyes only
Top gun
Brady's escape
Dirty dancing
The stuntman
Amadeus
The China syndrome
Monty python and the holy Grail
American graffiti
Ghostbusters
City heat
Airplane
Dead men don't wear plaid
Fantasia
John Waite: no brakes live
Jaco pastorius live in Montreal
Blood sweat & tears in little club
1941
Hamlet (mel Gibson)
The Russia house
Apocalypse now
My favorite year
The razor's edge

Here's the deal: If you want anything listed here, you have to take everything -- player and discs. If I get no takers in the next week or so, I'll try craigslist; if no nibbles there, the whole shebang will likely become bin wall fodder.

Hey, if nothing else, this is an easy way to get a working helium-neon laser tube and power supply. :-)

Interested? Call me at 238-9321, and we can arrange a time to meet at TechShop for the handoff.
