Very Large Printer for Billboard Size Print

Looking to print a number of very large prints (10' x 5') on 13oz vinyl... does the shop have a printer which will do that type of work?

Does anyone have one I could use? It's for a museum project.

Thanks!
Wayne

TechShop has a fairly new

Very Large Printer for Billboard Size Print

My printer uses water-based dyes and can go up to 44" wide. It wouldn't work on vinyl without a special coating. A solvent or UV printer is probably your best bet for this project.

Can you print 300dpi

Can you print 300dpi photographs (or higher ideally) on transparent material of any kind?

yes

I can go up to 1440 dpi, and although I haven't tried it yet, it should work on transparent polyester film.

300dpi billboards

If your source provides files that are 300dpi at 8" x 12" or so (typical DSLR), you're not going to have 300dpi of resolution in that file printing 4' x 6'. Beware the common pitfalls of misusing "DPI" as a unit of measurement without understanding exactly what that means for your source media and scaled to its final destination.
