Make:RDU (Make magazine users's group) inaugural meeting

Hey all,
A few of us decided to start a Make Magazine users group for the Raleigh-Durham area. Make:RDU (a.k.a. Maker DO!, see punny?).
Our first meeting will be Saturday, October 24th at 2PM. We'll be talking about what kind of stuff we want to do with this group (keyword do). Current thoughts are, Makerbot assembly day, a Maker Faire and random other stuff.
There's a website coming, (http://makerdu.com) but in the meantime we've registered on twitter (http://twitter.com/makerdu) and have a Tumblog going (http://makerdu.tumblr.com/).
Hope to see a bunch of folks there next Saturday.

Sounds like fun!
Sounds like fun and I wish I could be there, but I will be camping at Mount Morrow, NC Friday-Sunday with the NC Geocacher's Association.
Please keep us posted of any additional meetings as I would love to be involved later. I will also pass along the information to the Triangle Amateur Robotics club (which meets at Techshop the first Monday of each month).
