Is there a Techshop workstation running Ubuntu?

I'm using Open Office Draw to produce some vinyl cut logos (native .odg format -- wow, is it compact!) and exporting. But reloading in the .eps format preferred by the vinyl cutter results in a jaggy image, obviously rasterized. An export to .pdf maintains a vector format, but I didn't pay attention enuf to remember if the cutting software takes .pdf. I guess I will just scattershot file saves in different formats and hope for the best.

ubuntu

We've got a liveCD here, additionally the MAME cabinet machine runs Ubuntu Jaunty.

In regard to your format

In regard to your format question, the cutting software will supposedly import .pdf, but I had such good results with .eps I never bothered to try it.
