. . . because after it, you can use ALL the tools in the woodshop. Why does that matter? Generally, cutting wood is only the first step in any woodworking project. After you cut it, you probably need to perform many more operations -- from jointing and planing, to routing, drilling and sanding.
But let us know what you need. We're happy to schedule classes members need.
Just need the table and mitre saws. At the moment don't have the cash or time for a bigger course, and I really just need to cut some 2x4 (NOT by hand) and rip a few pieces of plywood. "Real" woodworking projects are a loooong way off. :-)
I was also hoping for the Sawstop & Mitre SBU to be brought back. Its a good option for those not really interested in making full woodworking projects, but just need those tools for simple cuts. And for myself and others with very limited free time, a 1 hour class is much more feasible than a 4 hour class.
I'd be happy to teach you this SBU, guys. Can you give the front desk a couple of your preferred dates and times? Tell them to get in touch with me to schedule it for you. Those two tools are a quick class.
the full woodshop SBU is more useful . . .

Heck, I'd teach the thing in the future :)
My problem being that I will need the ability to cut the wood I have so I can make something for someone soon.
I'd be happy to teach you
