First TechShop Durham Member Meet-Up
We had the first Member Meet-Up and Pot-Luck on Saturday, June 6th and it was great. About 100 people showed up. Some brought projects they did at TechShop and everyone brought food and generally had a good time meeting up with the other members here at TechShop.
There was no formal meeting or any schedule. No speeches or any of that. Just show up and meet the rest of the members was the theme and that's pretty much what happened.
A few pictures were posted on Flicker. We'll want to post a lot more next time. Speaking of next time, since we heard quite a few people say they wouldn't be here because of First Friday things, we decided to move it to the Second Saturday starting in July.
So plan on coming over to TechShop on Saturday July 11th for the next Member Meet-Up and Pot-Luck.
