Michael has informed me that the TechShop wiki is updated with the CNC status as we go. Right now we're waiting on a replacement air cylinder so that has a lot to do with our time table.
We are still waiting on a part from my understanding and the small CNC Mill seems to be a very against being fixed, but we are still plugging away. I promise to shoot you an e-mail once we get one or both up and running.
I hope they are fixed soon. I have been sitting on my membership just for the CNC mills.
I have really strong 3d skills that I believe could be converted to be useful in CNC milling.
I purchased two of the discounted months back in (May?) because I wanted to learn CNC.
and haven't really been in to use them because I had no idea it would take so long to fix
the machines.Guess I wasted that money.
All I can do right now is apologize for the delay. We will adjust somehow and either give you the time after we get them up or refund you if you haven't even come in. That's only right.
I fear the smaller ones might soon if they haven't already become like printers
once they break they cost more time and money to fix than they are worth.
Given a scenario that the smaller machine is unfixable , totaled or perpetually broken let me know I would be interested in buying it.
I believe I have waited long enough for the CNC machines to become operational.
I hoped they would be up by now I have sat on my membership and waited a year.
I also purchased two of the discounted months back in (May?) Thinking at that time they
would be up and running soon enough to use them.
I have nothing against Tech Shop for not getting the CNC mills running. But that was my reason for
buying the memberships and I would like a full refund.
This is probably not the best place to request a refund. Heck, I don't even know who you are.
I will respond here, but please contact me directly and we will work this out.
I am a lot more upset that the CNC machines are not operational than you are, believe me. I hired a guy specifically to do those two machines and gave him all the time in the world to get it done. It has not happened. I am very upset and will be looking for someone to get them going as soon as we are up and running again.
I understand your frustration completely and will give you a refund if it is appropriate. If you have not used your membership at all, I will refund it in full. If you have used it we can talk about what is fair.
