Next up was the new walls. Now you really can see a difference. This really looks like something is happening here. And it is!

Bobby installs the floor plate of the first wall. There's Tom Atkins, our Facilities Director from HQ being "in charge". Wayne says, "Oh no, you're not going to do it like that, are you?" Then he says, "Here, let me show you how to do that." Then Tom (the electrician) shows us another reason they call him "Sparks".

Actually, I made that all up because it fit the pictures funny. In reality, the whole volunteer crew has been very professional and incredibly helpful. I thank each and every person who has shown up and helped us build TechShop Durham. You guys and gals are the greatest.

There's Tom again at the end of another good day's work. Things are looking good.

Hey, what's with the mop bucket picture? Just when we thought we were done with all the floor scraping, we go and pull up a bunch of carpet in two more rooms and set out to strip the glue........................... again.
